Product Description

By installing this device you will have better control over your high voltage battery bank and the power that you use. You will be able to visually understand the flow of energy within your system.

The team at Cynergy spent two years designing and developing this device. After multiple field trials and customer feedback we have included plenty of features. It is easy to install, it is hassle free, and it performs well when it comes to monitoring and controlling solar energy.

What makes this product unique?

Most solar devices will monitor solar energy generated. However very few of them also monitor the load. In order to know what energy remains in your battery bank, it is good to have the full picture. This device puts all those features under one roof. It provides the information to you through visual graphs and logs. One can very quickly get a feel of how your energy flows.

We believe strongly that solar energy is one of the technologies that is going to be very widely adopted in the near future. However, one of the limitations of solar energy in off grid setups is that people generally feel they can not accurately gauge how much energy is available to them and therefore are somewhat hesitant to use it freely. Imagine driving your car without the fuel gauge! Would you feel that you would be a little apprehensive about how far you could drive? I would. Wattmon takes that fear away by providing you accurate information about the state of your battery bank and remaining time.


Installation is relatively simple. The A5S1 module needs to be connected two your battery bank's ground and positive terminal. Care should be taken since voltages higher than 60V DC can be lethal.
The external current sensor needs to be hooked up properly. This means that you will need to cut the lugs at the end of your charger cable and your inverter cable. The cables need to be pulled through the holes in the current sensor. Then you will need to recrimp the cables and reconnected them to the battery. You will also need to connect the power adapter. Two patch cables come with the kit. One of these is used to interconnect the current sensor module with the main device. The second connects your device with your broadband router. The default cable is 2 m. You may require a longer cable depending on the location of your batteries.

Once the device is physically installed and powered up, you can access it through your web browser. A simple control panel helps you set up various system parameters such as solar panel size and battery capacity. The whole process will take around 15 minutes. Basic knowledge of networking is helpful.
