Speed control using PWM

Postby solarsis » Tue Apr 14, 2015 5:22 am

Hello,
I want to control the speed of the BLDC Exhaust fan using PWM. Is it possible to do with WattmonPRO?
If possible how to connect it to the WattmonPRO?

Specifications of BLDC Exhaust Fan:

Voltage : 48V DC
Current : 1.10 Amps @ Full Load
Speed :2850 RPM @ Full Load

I'm attaching the photographs of Exhaust fan, please have a look.

Thanks,
Solarsis.

The PWM functionalit on the WattmonPRO is not ready yet. Instead, you can use the IP1 module along with the WattmonPRO which allows you to set a PWM Output frequency and duty cycle. This in turn can power an SSR or mosfet with capacitor to create a 0-10v output to co tell the fan speed.
