The external connections are the same as for the [[WattmonPro]], but the internal hardware is improved, with four times as much RAM (512 KB), 100 Mbps Ethernet, a processor clock of 200 MHz and 12-bit <tooltip title="Analog to Digital Converter">ADC</tooltip> inputs (4096 possible values for the full scale). The MEGA uses the same OS as the PRO, and is compatible with the same set of [[hardware:Modules]] and [[hardware:Accessories]]. The firmware has the same set of functions as the PRO, but is expanded to take advantage of the hardware improvements. These changes add flexibility and speed, making it over twice as fast as the PRO and easier to customize for any application.
