The external connections are the same as for the [[WattmonPro]], but the internal hardware is improved, with four times as much RAM (512 KB), 100 Mbps Ethernet, a processor clock of 200 MHz and 12-bit <tooltip title="Analog to Digital Converter">ADC</tooltip> inputs (4096 possible values for the full scale). The MEGA uses the same OS as the [[WattmonPro|PRO]], and is compatible with the same set of [[hardware:Modules]] and [[hardware:Accessories]]. The firmware has the same set of functions as the [[WattmonPro|PRO]], but is expanded to take advantage of the hardware improvements. These changes add flexibility and speed, making it over twice as fast as the [[WattmonPro|PRO]] and easier to customize for any application.
