Wattmon ULTRA can be powered between 6 and 60V DC.  It consumes less than 5W.  By default a 12V 2A wall mount adapter is provided with the product. 
A DIN rail mountable power supply can also be provided on request at additional cost.

Wattmon ULTRA has three ways of connecting to the Internet.

• Ethernet
  The built-in 100Mbit LAN can be connected directly to a laptop or router, and is used for setup and local monitoring.
• WiFi
  WiFi is built in and can be used in both STA and AP modes or simultaneously.  This can be used to connect to a WiFi router or to connect to the Wattmon with a phone / laptop without cables.
• LTE
  The Wattmon ULTRA has an LTE module built in that works on 2G/3G/4G networks and any provider that has a Data package on the SIM.  The external antenna can be extended with a cable to provide a better signal in poor coverage areas.

Modbus RTU (RS-485)

Two (2) RS-485 Modbus RTU interfaces are built in and Wattmon acts as a Modbus master to collect data from various devices such as inverters, power meters, current sensors, etc.

RS-232 Serial Port

Connect to legacy inverters or custom hardware using the RS-232 port

Digital Inputs

Connect up to 4 digital inputs (25V Max DC) and read the status of switches or other contact or potential free sensors. Digital inputs could be used with external adapters (12V) to determine power availability of various power sources.

Digital Outputs

The device has 4 digital outputs that can be used to power relays or LEDs, connected in a common-collector type arrangement.

Analog Inputs

The supply voltage (Vin) and 4 analog inputs are provided.  Each of the Analog inputs can be wired as a 0-10V input or a 0-20mA input to ensure that most industrial sensors can be directly wired without the need for additional converter modules.

1-Wire Input

A 1-Wire bus is also provided that can hook up to multiple DS18B20 temperature sensors to monitor ambient temperature, panel temperature or for any other application.
